Program from Volunteer Opportunities Panel

faculty bio with Dr. Lu and fMRI tour

Check out video and photos from Dr. Lu's faculty bio and the fMRI tour, including this shot of the toilets in the fMRI lab. I know you're like, this is totally unimpressive and I've got a toilet ten feet away from me that I use all the time--but you guys, Hanna Damasio could be using that toilet this very second!

Dessert Night: after the party it's the after-party

Photos from the event have been added to the Yahoo! Photos page
If you missed the event (and I know who you are, Helena), click below for video of yours truly eating
a) ice cream
b) hot wings
c) brownies
d) cookie cake/dessert pizza
e) chocolate cake
f) all of the above and more
If you guessed f, you're wrong! hah! I totally did eat all those things, but I'm not in the video. Not only did we have great food, but we also discussed how Vivian knew Tyra Banks in high school (!) and more importantly, watched America's Next Top Model with Dr Walsh (!!!)

If you're kicking yourself for missing the event, don't forget about the first Faculty Bio of the year on Wednesday, October 18th from 6-7:30pm with Dr. Lu. Dr. Lu is currently conducting research on brain imaging, perceptual learning and visual neural networks. We will hear from Dr. Lu and then take a tour of the new fMRI facilities! This is a rare opportunity and spaces are limited. There are currently only 10 spots left so RSVP now! The deadline to RSVP is October 13th. Refreshments will be provided, so come get your points and snack on!
